FIRST STOP: LAKE PÁTZCUARO IN THE STATE OF MICHOACÁN
The first question we inevitably get when telling people we've decided to spend a year traveling and working from Mexico is,
"What cities are you going to?"
That question obviously makes perfect sense - unless you know us.
Remember that bit on our About Us page where I say we aren't planners? Well, choosing locations outside of "Mexico" was challenging. Not only are we non-planners, we are both very indecisive - borderline apathetic at times.
So how did we decide on a lake town in the mountains of Mexico that we had never heard of?
Well, I'll tell you...
We decided to begin our adventure in July, which happens to be the rainy season in Mexico. We were having a difficult time deciding what beach we would be ok missing some of due to rain and since we had narrowed our beaches down to exactly "all of them" it was challenging.
In a moment of desperation, I Googled something like, Places in Mexico You Didn't Know You Needed to Visit and on the list
